America’s Got Talent Season 17 finalists Chapel Hart were among the performers during Thursday’s People’s Choice Country Awards. The trio delivered a fun rendition of their song “This Girl Likes Fords.”
Chapel Hart Performs at People’s Choice Country Awards
“This Girl Likes Fords” appears on Chapel Hart’s latest album Glory Days. For their performance at the People’s Choice Country Awards, the group sang the song outside the Grand Ole Opry House, surrounded by onlookers.
The group wore casual, coordinating outfits for the performance, including denim and flannel. Danica Hart also wore her signature cowboy hat. They were accompanied by a band.
Their performance also served as an advertisement for Ford, as they performed with a Ford F-150 truck nearby. The group posted photos from the event on Instagram, writing, “Thank you so much to @ford for having us at the very first People’s Choice Country Awards! We had the BEST time tonight.”
Thursday marked the first-ever People’s Choice Country Awards, as stars such as Jelly Roll, Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, and Dan + Shay walked away with trophies. Other performers at the event included Kelsea Ballerini, Carly Pearce, and Wynonna Judd.

The Group Recently Performed on AGT
Earlier this month, Chapel Hart returned to the AGT stage as guest performers during one of the Season 18 results shows. The group performed their song “Fam Damily,” also off their album Glory Days.
When AGT host Terry Crews asked the group what competing on the show meant to them, group member Trea Swindle replied, “It sounds like an overstatement, but it literally changed our lives.”
The trio currently has a number of tour dates lined up through the rest of the year. Check out their website to find out of they’re coming to a city near you. One of their upcoming performances is at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, where the People’s Choice Country Awards were held.
